The story

Inside OOCL

Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) was founded by the Tung family and has long been regarded as one of the industry’s premium, technology-forward carriers. Its OOCL Hong Kong was the first container ship to break the 21,000-TEU barrier.

Since 2018 OOCL has been owned by COSCO Shipping, operating within the Ocean Alliance while keeping its own brand, service quality and award-winning digital systems.
